MECHANICALLY SECURED, SUPPORTED AND SAFE BRICKNOLOGY® CLADDING

TRANSPARENT, HONEST AND CERTIFIED TESTING

Our ambition is for BRICKNOLOGY® to become the most tried and tested brick cladding product on the market. Through certified testing it is paramount to us that our product, its benefits and advanced performance are made clear for everyone to see.

EUROPEAN TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT (ETA)

In early 2023, BRICKNOLOGY® was certified through the European Technical Assessment (ETA) which confirmed the advanced performance of our product, even beyond our own expectations.

Most notably from this test program,  the performance withstanding up to -6600Pa of wind suction pressure, with no visible damage.

BRICKNOLOGY® out performed the aluminium support system during this wind suction test.

  • Wind pressure test: +3000Pa

    Wind suction test: -6600Pa

  • No deformation – with static load of 500N applied for one minute horizontally through two squares of 25x25x5mm spaced 440mm apart.

  • Without damage – Category I

    Hard Body Impact – Steel ball weighing 0.5kg (3 J) and Steel ball weighing 1kg (10 J).

    Soft Body Impact – Soft ball weighing 3kg (60 J) and soft ball weighing 50kg (400 J).

  • Mean value 2.10N/mm²

    Characteristics value 1.65N/mm²

  • Strength test of groove in rear of brick slip attachment to metal backing plate.

    Mean value: 313N

    Characteristic value: 218N

  • (Maximum deflection) – Vertical / Horizontal position 0.4mm

  • Fixings through metal backing rails into vertical support rails.

    Mean value: 3051N

    Characteristic value: 2370N

  • System remained without any damage.

After 4 weeks curing at temperature (23 ± 2) ºC and relative humidity (50 ± 5) % - sample was subjected to a series of 80 cycles, comprising the following phases:

    1 – heating to 70 ºC for 3 hours.

    2 – spraying for 1-hour (water temperature (+ 15 ± 5) ºC, amount of water 1l/m² min.

    3 – leave for 2 hours (drainage).

After at least 48 hours of subsequent conditioning at temperatures (20 ± 10) ºC and a minimum relative humidity of 50%, the sample is exposed to 5 heat/cold cycles of 24 hours comprising the following phases:

    1 – exposure to (50 ± 5) ºC for 8 hours.

    2 – exposure to (-20 ± 5) ºC for 16 hours.
