HOW TO INSTALL BRICKNOLOGY®
OUR STRAIGHT FORWARD INSTALLATION PROCESS
The patent-pending design of our interlocking BRICKNOLOGY® metal support rails, provides a modular installation method. This meaning that as long as the starter rails of each area to be clad are installed aligned and level, it is difficult to go wrong.

INSTALL BRICKNOLOGY® METAL SUPPORT RAILS TO BACKING STRUCTURE
BRICKNOLOGY® Starter, Middle and Top metal support rails are fixed direct to the engineered backing structure at 75mm modular increments.
Recommended vertical support rails should not exceed 600mm fixing centres and a maximum span of 12m between movement joints within the brick cladding.

INSTALL BRICKNOLOGY® BRICK SLIPS TO METAL SUPPORT RAILS
BRICKNOLOGY® kiln fired brick slips are clipped into place guiding the horizontal rear grooves to the pre-formed mechanical attachment of the metal support rails.
The central median attachment line accommodates tolerances of the brick, enabling consistent horizontal and vertical joints within the brick work.

APPLY BRICKNOLOGY® MORTAR BY INJECTION POINTING ALL JOINTS
Once BRICKNOLOGY® support rails and brick slips are installed, mortar is applied by injection pointing all horizontal and vertical joints around the brick slips to create the desired natural brick work finish.
It is recommended that mortar is not applied at temperatures below 5ºC.
